THE ARTIST
- Siddharth B. Gavade (b. November 29, 1994) is an accomplished Indian artist renowned for his portrait and figurative paintings. He earned his G.D. Art (Fine Art) diploma from Kalavishwa Mahavidyalaya in Sangli and Lalit Kala Mahavidyalaya in Ichalkaranji, followed by a Dip.A.Ed from Navkrishna Valley Fine Art College in Sangli, Maharashtra. In recognition of his exceptional talent, Siddharth has received several prestigious awards, including: The Bombay Art Society's Lalit Kala Academy Award for Best Portrait in 2019. Art Beats National Award for Best Portrait Painting in 2020. All India National Portrait Competition winner in 2018. Prafulla Dahanukar Award for Best Figurative Painting in 2018. His artwork has been showcased in various exhibitions, such as: Maha Ustav N.D. Film World Exhibition in 2022. Chitrasanthe Parishath in Bangalore from 2016 to 2023. Sangli Art Gallery in 2018. Group show at Let Art Work Gallery in 2017. Siddharth's paintings have been displayed in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Sangli, and Kolhapur, and are part of private collections in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Zealand, Seattle, and other locations worldwide. Since 2016, he has been working as a freelance artist, continually exploring and enjoying his artistic journey
