Refund policy

At Anciq, every artwork is prepared, packed, and dispatched with care. Since many of our products are made-to-order, framed-to-order, or specially prepared against confirmed orders, we do not offer returns for change of mind or preference-based reasons.

We do, however, support customers in case of genuine issues such as damage, defects, or incorrect items received.

1. Eligible Cases for Return / Replacement / Refund

A return, replacement, or refund may be considered only if:

  • You receive a damaged product

  • You receive a defective product

  • You receive the wrong product

  • Your order is delivered with missing items or parts

2. Reporting Window

If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete order, you must inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

To raise a claim, please share the following with us on email or WhatsApp:

  • Your Order ID

  • Clear photos of the outer packaging

  • Clear photos of the product

  • A clear photo/video of the issue

  • A complete unboxing video

  • Your contact details

3. Unboxing Video is Mandatory

For any claim related to damage, defect, wrong item, or missing parts, a full unboxing video is mandatory.

The unboxing video must:

  • Start before opening the package

  • Clearly show the sealed parcel

  • Show the shipping label

  • Show the package being opened fully

  • Clearly capture the damage, defect, wrong item, or missing part

Important: The unboxing video must be emailed or sent to us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the damaged/defective product. Claims without a valid unboxing video or reported after 48 hours may not be accepted.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of transit damage, manufacturing defect, or wrong item delivered:

  • Made-to-order artworks

  • Framed artworks

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Commissioned artworks

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards, if applicable

5. Returns Not Accepted for These Reasons

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal dislike after delivery

  • Incorrect selection by the customer

  • Slight variation in color, tone, or texture due to screen/display settings

  • Minor handmade or finishing variations that do not affect functionality or overall appearance

  • Delivery issues arising from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer

  • Refusal to accept delivery without a valid reason

6. Resolution Process

Once we receive your claim, our team will review the details submitted. We may request additional photos, videos, or information if needed.

If your claim is approved, Anciq may offer one of the following, depending on the case:

  • Replacement of the same product

  • Store credit

  • Full refund

  • Partial refund

  • Any other fair resolution as deemed suitable

The final mode of resolution will depend on the nature of the issue, product availability, and internal verification.

7. Return Conditions for Approved Cases

If a return is approved, the item must be returned:

  • In the same condition as received

  • In its original packaging, wherever possible

  • Along with all included components, accessories, and invoice

  • Packed safely to avoid further damage during return transit

Returns sent without prior approval from Anciq will not be accepted.

8. Reverse Pickup / Self-Shipping

If a reverse pickup service is available for your location, we will arrange it.

If reverse pickup is not available, you may be asked to self-ship the item to the address shared by our support team.

Return shipping reimbursement, if applicable, will be considered only in approved cases and against valid courier proof.

9. Refund Timeline

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days from the date of approval and successful verification.

Please note that the actual credit timeline may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway.

10. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before they enter processing, printing, framing, or dispatch.

Since many Anciq products are prepared specifically against confirmed orders, cancellations may not be possible once production or dispatch has started.

If you wish to request a cancellation, please contact us immediately after placing the order.

Anciq reserves the right to reject any claim that appears fraudulent, incomplete, unsupported by required proof, or reported beyond the timeline stated above.

This policy shall be governed in accordance with applicable Indian consumer protection and e-commerce norms.
