- For Sanika Dhanorkar, the artistic realm is incomparable, offering creativity, tranquility, fascination, and therapeutic solace. Born in 1964, art was in the family & so pursuing it with passion came naturally. With a Post-Graduate degree in Fine Arts & a Diploma in Interior Design, several awards & accolades, she worked in both fields for more than 30 yrs. & would love to keep painting to glory forever. Realism, Impressionism & occasionally Expressionism are the art styles she largely follows without restricting herself to any particular medium. Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Gouache, Charcoal, Pastels are all equally enjoyable mediums that she loves to dabble in. Her subjects vary from Landscapes, Florals, Figurative, Still Life, Impressionistic Compositions, etc. She imagines her paintings to be a form of visual pleasure that would bring the much-needed cheer & smile on the face of the beholder any time of the day.
